As a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), Rotherham Sailing Club warmly welcomes new members of all ages and abilities, whether you’re interested in sailing, paddle sports, open-water swimming, or simply enjoying our friendly club atmosphere.
You don’t need to own a boat or any equipment to get started. We have a wide range of club dinghies available for hire to members at a small charge.
Perfect for anyone over 18 who wants full sailing rights, use of club boats.
Ideal for occasional kayakers, canoeists or stand-up paddleboarders who want to bring their own craft and only pay when they paddle – simply book your session online and come down to enjoy the water.
Perfect if you just want to dip in with Yorkshire Outdoor Swimmers now and again – simply book your open-water swim session online and pay as you go with no annual commitment.
Ideal for a partner, cohabitee, and child (under 18, or up to 25 if in full-time education) of a Full Member who also wants to sail.
Great for those who only want to crew for another helm without helming not required.
For juniors under 18 who want to sail and get involved on their own.
For non-sailing supporters, friends or family who want to enjoy the clubhouse and social events.
